Doug Davenport founded Prospect Silicon Valley, a nonprofit urbantech innovation hub bringing startups and product teams with government agencies to accelerate innovation in transportation, energy and environment. As the founding CEO, he advised numerous clients and partners from product use case to commercialization, and built a program that has produced over $140M in investment and $50M in public financing for emerging technology field trials and early adoption.

Doug’s 25-year career has revolved around emerging technology in infrastructure and the environment. Prior to founding ProspectSV, Doug led business strategy and program development for applied technology programs at Berkeley Lab, and was the architect of CalCharge, a nationally recognized effort to accelerate energy storage technology through access to Berkeley Lab’s research talent and facilities. Previously, Doug led consulting teams in Tetra Tech’s carbon management and renewable energy practice areas. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
